Our Aspiration

Our aspiration is to learn to live fully in the here and now. All of creation is interconnected.Nevertheless, we acknowledge that it is difficult to live a conscious life without the support of others who share our values and aspirations.

For that reason, we intend to create a meditation community founded in mutual respect and individual integrity utilizing the forms of the “Order of Interbeing” as established by Thich Naht Hanh.

Although it is an element in Buddhist tradition, mindfulness practice is not a religion; it is not necessary to be Buddhist to meditate. Ours is a spiritual practice that helps us to understand our suffering and transform it, to develop compassion and loving-kindness, and to wake us up to living more fully in every moment of our lives.
